Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

John 16:7 (Amplified Bible)
However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever--

How  can  we  know that  we  have  received the  Holy  Spirit?

The “Fiftieth” Experience

PENTECOST - meaning the “fiftieth”
           - also known as the “Feast of  Weeks” or “Feast of the First fruits/Harvest”
           - it commemorates the giving the law after their departure from Egypt.

Feast of the Passover-Good Friday
Feast of the Unleavened Bread-Black Saturday
Feast of the Harvest (1st day)-Easter Sunday

Feast of Weeks(7 full weeks feast)
Last day(50th Day)

 The  Pentecost  in Acts  2   is  the  most special  Pentecost!

They gathered in one place. (Acts 1:12; 2:1)
They earnestly prayed for ten days.
The Holy Spirit came in the form of a wind and a tongue of fire.
They started to speak in tongues.
Peter preached to the crowd.
Then, many new converts had been added to their number.

New  Total  Experience!

What could have they experienced with God at that time?

• His PRESENCE

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”
-ACTS 2:2,3


“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?”
- 1Corinthians 6:19

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

• His POWER

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”

“God calls not for the able, but for the available”

How much TIME do you give for God’s service?

“Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”

• His PLAN
