And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and adorned for her husband;

Ano  ang  kailangan  na gawin  ng  isang  tao para makapasok  sa  bayangito?
(What is needed by someone to enter to this city?)

John 3:3-5 (Amplified Bible)
Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother's womb again and be born?
Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

Matthew 28:19-20 (Amplified Bible)
Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Ano  ba  ang  tamang paraan  ng pagbabautismo?
(What is the correct way of baptism?)

BAPTISM
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF IT?

Ang salitang Griego na "baptizo" ay nangangahulugang "ilublob" o "ilubog" o "ibaon" sa ilalim ng tubig.
(The Greek word "baptizo"means "plunge" or "immerse" or "bury" under water.)

John 3:23 (Amplified Bible)
But John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, for there was an abundance of water there, and the people kept coming and being baptized.

Mark 1:9-11 (Amplified Bible)
In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
And when He came up out of the water, at once he [John] saw the heavens torn open and the [Holy] Spirit like a dove coming down [to enter] into Him.
And there came a voice out from within heaven, You are My Beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.

Acts 8:36
And as they continued along on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch exclaimed, See, [here is] water! What is to hinder my being baptized?

And he ordered that the chariot be stopped; and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and [Philip] baptized him.
And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord [[a]suddenly] caught away Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing.

Hindi hanggang sa Konsilo ng Ravenna noong 1311 A.D. na opisyal na tinanggap ang pagwisik at pagbuhos bilang katumbas sa paglubog sa ritual ng bautismo.
(Not until the Council of Ravenna in 1311 AD officially accepted spraying and pouring as equivalent to dipping in baptism.)

Ano  ang  isa  sa mga  dahilan  ng pagpapabautismo?
(What is one of the reasons in being baptized?)

Matthew 3:15 (Amplified Bible)
But Jesus replied to him, Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for [both of] us to fulfill all righteousness [that is, to perform completely whatever is right]. Then he permitted Him.

Ano  ang  sumisimbolo sa  Bautismo? (What symbolizes baptism?)

Romans 6:3-4 (Amplified Bible)
Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.

Kamatayan sa ating lumang makasalanang landas ng buhay.
(Death to our old sinful way of life.)

Paglilibing ng ating mga kasalanan sa libingang tubig ng bautismo.
(Bury our sins in the tomb waters of baptism.)

Pagkabuhay na muli sa isang bagong buhay kay Kristo.
(Resurrection to a new life in Christ.)

Ano  ang  kailangan nating  gawin  upang mabautismuhan?
(What do we need to do to be baptized?)

Step 1:
Magsisi (Repent)

Acts 2:38 (Amplified Bible)
And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Step 2:
Maniwala (Believe)

Mark 16:16 (Amplified Bible)
He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

Mga Hakbang Tungo sa Bautismo (Steps toward Baptism)

1. Repent- a true sorrow for sin.
2. Believe- accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord.
3. Learning- learning the essentials of the faith in the Bible.

Nangangahulugan  ba na  ang  bautismo  ay magpapabilang  sa  iyo sa  Iglesia  ni  Jesus?
(Does Baptism makes you belong to Jesus's Church?)

Acts 2:47 (Amplified Bible)
Constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding [to their number] daily those who were being saved [from spiritual death].

1 Corinthians 12:13 (Amplified Bible)
For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit.

And now, why do you delay? Rise and be baptized, and by calling upon His name, wash away your sins.
