'The Loud Cry' Movie Premieres on Sep. 2012

Quarterapple Studios has released the first teaser of the film last February 20,12 and the second official teaser was on June 25, 2012. The official full trailer was released on September 14, 2012.  This is the first Filipino Adventist Film produced in the Philippines. Almost all the characters of the film and members of the production team are Seventh-day Adventists. Many of them are students, members and employees from different Adventist Institutions.

Direk Dan "Sinag" Dalida started writing the script ten years ago and it has been played in different theater acts like in the Philippine International Convention Center and Smart Araneta Coliseum.  His talent in writing and sense of spiritual revival within the church combined with the knowledge from Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute and Arts Center lead his way in making this Great Controversy Inspired film.

The Great Controversy is one of the books written by Ellen G. White, a true prophet by meeting all the tests as set forth by the Holy Scriptures and who was known to be a woman with remarkable spiritual gifts. The Great Controversy book tells the major issues of the conflict between Christ and Satan as they have been seen in the history of the Christian church down to our own day--and beyond, based on what the Bible says will yet take place.

The Loud Cry is the chapter 34 of this book (year 1858 published edition). This film shows the real events of the last days and what will happen to the real people of God before the world ends and before the soon imminent second coming of Jesus Christ.  It's not about the physical war but a spiritual war between Christ's people who worship Him on Sabbath day and the other flock who follows the great deceiver by not following the fourth commandment or the real Lord's day written in Exodus 20:8.

This film will surely open the eyes of the people who are blind from the truth and will create a strong spark of spiritual revival and reformation of the Adventist people's faith.
