VOICE OF YOUTH 2011
The Youth Department of CAA Seventh-day Adventist Church will lead the Voice of Youth (VOY) Crusade this second quarter of year 2011 headed by the Youth Leader and at the same time Youth Elder Eliezer Collado. This VOY Crusade is a yearly summer religious program of the church with a purpose of taking part in sharing the true gospel of Christ by the young people to mankind.
This year, it has a theme entitled "Prophecy Towards Salvation" or in Filipino "Propesiya Tungo sa Kaligtasan" and it will start on April 30, 2011 until May 13, 2011 from 7:20 to 8:45 every night and with baptism also on May 14, 2011, Sabbath day.
This kind of church program started around year 2008 where there are youth volunteers who will stay-in for full time in the church to visit everyday all the souls interested in the Bible Study and further learn and accept the truth about God. The full-time volunteers will also take responsibilities in all the parts of the program every night.
The guest speaker for the VOY this year is Bro. Josaphat Dingcol, a student of Theology Course in Adventist University of the Philippines and also an active layman of Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The program format is different from the usual format of the Church worship services but similar to a crusade
and week of prayer.
Before the program starts, the ushers and usherettes will greet the comers and take them to registration booth if they are interested in Bible study and who are not yet a member of the Adventist church. After the registration, the praise team will lead the song of praise and worship part and it will take 10-20 minutes. Before singing the theme song for the Opening Song, the Presider will welcome everybody who attended and will acknowledge the participants.
Opening Prayer will be next right after the Opening Song. Question and Answer portion is next after the prayer. A special song number is next before the Health Lecture takes place. Another special song number is next before the message of the guest speaker. After the message, an appeal song will be rendered. Next is some announcements and closing song and then closing prayer. The good night song will be heard by everyone after the program ends.
